Joseph F. Fowler, Jr. MD
Dr. Fowler is a nationally known dermatologist, recognized for his work in the field of skin allergies and contact dermatitis. He has maintained a busy private practice for over 25 years in Louisville. He is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Louisville and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Occupational Medicine at the University of Kentucky, and is involved in teaching residents and medical students. He has been a past president of the American Contact Dermatitis Society, the Space Dermatology Foundation, and the Kentucky Dermatology Society. He is the president of the North American Contact Dermatitis Group. He is listed in Woodward and White's "Best Doctors in America".

Dr. Fowler has been an invited lecturer at many regional, national, and international medical conferences, including the annual conference of the American Academy of Dermatology each year since 1989. He is the author of over 120 scholarly publications and medical chapters and the co-author of "Fisher's Contact Dermatitis" one of the most used dermatology textbooks.

Dr. Fowler has served as principal investigator on multiple pharmaceutical research studies. He is a consultant in drug development for multiple dermatologic pharmaceutical companies around the world.

Dr. Fowler lives in Louisville with his wife, Lynn. They are partners in Margaux Farm in Midway, KY., which breeds and races thoroughbreds. When not working, he enjoys tennis, music, and travel.


J. Scott Kasteler, MD
Received his medical degree from University of Utah in 1991. Dr. Kasteler did his Internship at the University of Arizona from 1991 to 1992 and completed a Residency in Dermatology at the University of Louisville from 1992 to 1995. Dr. Kasteler is a Board Certified Dermatologist, having passed the board Certification Exam in the fall of 1995 and passed the Recertification Exam in June 2004. Dr. Kasteler is a Member of the Academy of Dermatology, American Board of Dermatology, Kentucky Medical Association and Greater Louisville Medical Society. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at University of Louisville and participates in the education of medical students, dermatology residents and residents in other specialties. Dr. Kasteler sees patients in both the Louisville, Kentucky and Jeffersonville, Indiana offices.

Dr. Kasteler is married with five children. He enjoys time spent with his family and on a golf course.


J. Mark Jackson, MD
Dr. Jackson is initially from Texas and completed his undergraduate education at Baylor University, where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. He completed his medical degree at Texas A&M University College of Medicine in 1994 and performed an internship in internal medicine there as well at Scott and White Hospital. He completed his Residency in Dermatology at the University of Louisville in 1998. Dr. Jackson is a Board Certified Dermatologist, having passed the board Certification Exam in the fall of 1998 and passed the Recertification Exam in June 2006. Dr. Jackson is a member of the Dermatology Foundation, Medical Dermatology Society, American Academy of Dermatology, Kentucky Dermatology Association and Greater Louisville Medical Society. He is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at the University of Louisville. Dr. Jackson is active in the dermatology residency program and spends time teaching dermatology residents and medical students. He is also involved in clinical investigational research, as well as in clinical practice. Dr. Jackson has authored many chapters and articles in peer reviewed publications and has lectured throughout the country on topics involving psoriasis, dermatology eczema, systemic therapies and advanced dermatologic disorders. He sees patients primarily at the Louisville office, but also staffs the dermatology clinic at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Jackson is married with three children and enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and traveling.

Jennifer H. Perryman, MD
Dr. Perryman is a Board Certified Dermatologist and has been with Dermatology Specialists, PSC. since July 2009. She attended Indiana University School of Medicine and then completed her internship in Internal Medicine followed by her Dermatology Residency at the University of Louisville. Dr. Perryman is a Member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Kentucky Medical Association and Greater Louisville Medical Association. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at University of Louisville and assists with the teaching and training of dermatology residents and medical students. Dr. Perryman is also involved with clinical research trials at Dermatology Specialists, PSC. In addition to the Louisville office, she also sees patients at a clinic in Corydon, Indiana and assists in staffing the Dermatology clinic at the University of Louisville.

Bridget G. Hart, ARNP
Bridget became Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2004. Bridget received her BS in Exercise Physiology at the University of Pittsburgh in 1992 and went to the University of Louisville for her BSN in 1998. Bridget completed her MSN Nursing/ARNP degree at University of Louisville in 2004. Bridget is licensed by the state of Kentucky Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practioners and Nurse Midwives and the American Nurses Association.

Bridget spends her spare time with husband, Dr. Ray Hart and their four children.
